Every day you are driving in the interstate, and splotches abound in your windshield. Dust, dirt and worst of all, bug stains. You can clean dust and dirt easily. It is as simple as wiping them off with a damp towel and some soap.
Flying insects get squished in the windshield as you drive in the freeway, leaving hard to clean stains that ruin your windshield. Not only are they unsightly, but distract you from doing your main job: that is, driving with all your concentration. Bug stains become a safety hazard, impeding your visibility of the roads. You start wiping them with your windshield wiper, but all they do is smear and spread the mess around.
But it is the bug stains that drive you nuts. Some of them are easily taken off, but some resists cleaning. You have to go to the hardware store to get some cleaning material, or sometimes, you need to have your car taken to the car cleaners. Just to have that nasty bug stain taken off and cleaned.
But do not fret and lose sleep. Help is on the way. Keep those bugs off your windshield by installing a Toyota bug shield. Bug shields are known as bug deflectors, bug guards, hood shields, hood guards, hood deflectors, and, of course, bug shields. But those terms are interchangeable, by the way. People get confused as they are called by different names, but those terms mean the same thing. It still refers to the same product. It is such the way they are called and known by the people in the auto parts industry.
All bug shields deflect the air moving in front of the vehicle by altering the shape of the vehicle's hood. Instead of the air moving directly to the windshield, the bug shield alters the flowing air current, making it go higher. This makes the air current (and the dirt, dust and insects) miss your windshield as it moves up and over the vehicle's front section and roofline.
Choose from quality bug shield makers like Lund, EGR, AVS, Ventshade or Wade Auto. This plastic shield is installed in front of your hood. Most bug shields are available in tinted or clear plastic, so it does not impede your view of the road. The tinted ones even help with the sun's glare. The hard and durable plastic construction assures you that your bug shields would be resistant to impacts from rocks, sticks, pebbles and other roadside debris.
There are many benefits that a bug shield offer. Aside from its main purpose of preventing any insects from squishing into your windshield,Toyota bug shields also protect the vehicle's fenders and hood from accidental pitting. Roadside debris such as rocks, pebbles, sticks may be churned up and go flying towards your vehicle by other vehicles. These may scratch and dent your precious vehicle. In the end, installing a bug shield would pay for itself, as paying to have those scratches and dents may be even more higher compared to the cost of the Toyota bug shield.
Install a bug shield now, and let the bugs bug off!

A Leap in Brake Technology: Odyssey Rotors
The demand for disc brakes have risen considerably over the years as their efficiency and ability to withstand rigorous use better than drum brakes have consumers relegating the latter to the backseat. Traditionally, drum brakes were the ultimate in brake technology. Then wide consumer attention shifted to the disc brakes. That's when the fun started. Most of the first disc brakes, or rotor brake systems, were first modified to fit the specific demands of racing cars. Full stop power was essential to the performance of these cars and the disc brakes did not disappoint. Soon, it did not take long for the automotive companies shaping the automotive industry, along with the rest of the world, to clue in to its potential for endurance and fuel-economy. Thus, by the mid 1980s, disc brakes began to be adapted for front brake universal use. This set-up has continued up to this day.
Disc brakes then, also termed rotor in American English, are one of the most essential components that make up the contemporary automotive brake system. However, as it is often the case with everything, even with great machines, regular tune-ups and replacements for your say, Odyssey rotors, are really needed. You might not think much of these things right now but it pays to keep them in the forefront. After all, one of the most common mistakes of car owners springs from their own inattention to such details. Cars are not disposable items. Yes, you've heard of that one before. It's the owners that make them that way. For instance, when your Odyssey rotors grow too thin from the average thickness required, it's best to replace them with new ones. But of course, you won't know your rotors need replacing if you do not have them checked in the first place. Knowing what needs replacing will help you avoid bigger replacement jobs since only by discovering early on what exactly is causing the problem could you prevent the malfunction from worsening or affecting other sections of the car.
Also, you have to keep in mind that possible distortion of your disc brakes or Odyssey rotors can be a result of particular brake part replacements. For instance, if you've installed brake pads and then start having trouble with your brakes, and you feel that your Odyssey rotors have somehow become warped, then the rotors might have been cut too thin and the only thing you can do is to replace them. Besides, whenever replacement jobs are due, it is always best to do them in sets. Mounting a new set of brake pads on old rotors is probably not the soundest of all ideas. The rotors might be worn or heavily grooved and the resulting abrasive friction is certainly not a good thing for those brand new brake pads. You'll just find yourself going for premature brake pad replacements. Doing it in sets also means that if you've replaced the front pads on the passenger side, do the driver's side too. Your car will perform better this way.

Europe To Welcome Mazda BT-50 Pickup
Europe. The land where you get to see real palaces and queens and princes. The place where you get to discover new culture. In fact, the place where you get to learn about and feel a culture that has been well preserved through time. A land where Audis, BMWs, and Mercedes Benzes roam.
This land may be quite familiar with other foreign vehicles like Mazda and its Mazda 323 parts but it may not quite yet have gone familiar with the Mazda BT-50. After all, the Mazda BT-50 has already been designed, manufactured, and marketed in other auto markets. Europe has yet to be introduced to this vehicle.
But the waiting would soon be over for Europe. You see, most markets in the continent of Europe would have to open up its arms and welcome in the Mazda BT-50. This vehicle is a pick up truck and come the end of this year, it would have been able to enter the gates of the European car market. Mazda says that they have set the price of the Mazda BT-50 pickup to start at around 23,900 euros which, when converted, would amount to around $31,690.
The Mazda BT-50 pick up first was introduced to the automotive industry just this March of 2006. It first was glimpsed at by the auto audience at the Bangkok Motor Show. During that time, Mazda offered the Mazda BT-50 with two different versions. One was the Mazda BT-50 XL-Cab. This one held five seats and had four doors. The other version was the Mazda BT-50 L-Cab and the difference with this one was that its doors could be opened opposite each other. Most people who were able to take a look at the mentioned version were very much reminded of the Mazda RX-8 sports car. You see, aside from the doors, the latter version also had the fold-down seats in its second row.
For power, the Mazda BT-50 uses the MZR-CD 2.5 liter common-rail turbocharged DOHC diesel engine which held sixteen valves. This engine is supposed to be more refined and was better at fuel efficiency.
